Suspect previous wound during Midnight Jump into Italy that corresponds to family memory of MIA notification and uncles account of German rifle butt to Dad's face. (I'm still researching this)

Operation Torch Plane # 4 per "Bail Out Over North Africa" page 154

Post War:

Raised three sons and two daughters.

Worked as Electrician at Y-12 In Oak Ridge, Tennessee until 1964 when he "tramped" as electrician mostly out of IBEW Local 4 in Pittsburg.

23 July 1981 - Passed away in Tampa, Florida VA Hospital of Pancreatic Cancer.
